The main trekking areas in Vietnam, a southeast Asian country, are in the north, bordering China.  The lush, green mountains beckon hikers.  Some of the popular hikes include Phansipan, Ba Den, Ba Ren, Chua Chan Mountain and Mai Chau Valley.
