There are lots of great hiking opportunities in Vanuatu, a group of 80 islands scattered across a large distance in the South Pacific. Some of the popular hikes are found on Malekula Island (such as Dog’s Head and Manbush Trail); on Espiritu Santo (such as Mount Tabwemasana and Millennium Cave Trek); the twin volcanoes on Ambrym Island; and more. June – October: Driest time, although it rains a lot here in general so it’s still rainy during these months.  Northern islands are rainier than southern ones.
November – May: Rainiest time; chance of cyclones in some of these months

Climate: Equatorial in the northern islands; Tropical in the center islands – rainfall abundant, more so on the northern islands; cooler temps on the southern islands
