Trinidad and Tobago, an island group in the Caribbean close to South America, have mountains running along the northern section of the island of Trinidad. Known as the Northern Range, there are some established hiking trails within these mountains. Some of the best hikes here include: El Cirro del Aripo (the highest peak), El Tucuche, Saut d’Eau, Morne Bleu Ridge, Morne Catherine. In Trinidad, the mountainous area is in the north of the country, known as the Northern Range. Highest Mountain: Cerro del Aripo (941 m) in the central part of the Northern Range. Tobago has some hills but wouldn’t consider it mountain hiking, so didn’t include any info on it.
