Best Hiking Trails in Haiti


Known more for the challenges the country faces, such as the 2010 earthquake, Haiti has plenty of mountainscapes that seem largely unexplored. The main hiking areas include Parc National La Visite and Pic La Selle in the Massif de la Selle, with Jacmel as a good base; Parc National Pic Macaya; and the mountains in northern Haiti near Cap-Haitien.  There isn’t a lot of information available for hiking in Haiti.
