Guyana is a small South American country not known as a hiking destination but does have some mountains suitable for hiking, including the Kanuku, Iwokrama and Pakaraima Mountains, as well as the well known Mount Roraima (highest peak in Guyana, shared with Brazil and Venezuela). Some of the hikes that can be undertaken include Kaieteur Falls, Awarmie Mountain, Moco Moco Mountain, and Surama Mountain.
