Guinea is a fairly large West African country that has two mountainous areas to explore. The main areas for hiking are the Guinea Highlands which contains Mount Nimba, highest mountain in Guinea, as well as the popular Fouta Djalon area, known as Guinea’s Grand Canyon, which has several hikes to embark upon.
