Overview

The Lake Volta region is the main area for hiking in Ghana, a West African country.  There are low mountains to explore in here, including Mount Afadjato (Ghana’s tallest), Mount Gemi, and trails around the popular Wli Waterfall.  There are ecotourism projects here that can organize guided hikes.
