Best Hiking Trails in Comoro Islands (Comoros)


The Comoro Islands (Comoros) include Grande Comore, Anjouan and Moheli.  Comoros is part of an independent republic after gaining independence from France in 1975.  The islands are located in the Indian Ocean between Mozambique and Madagascar, and have some small mountains to hike. The most well known hike is to the top of Mount Karthala, an active volcano that is the highest point of Comoros. The best months to hike in Comoros are May to November.  There is very little information on hiking in Comoros available, and there are no updated travel guides on travelling to these islands.
